Parkonomy.com is partnering with Hallmark Developments to manage its temporary car parks across the North West.
Hallmark Developments, a property development company based in Rochdale, uses undeveloped land to provide additional parking facilities in sought after locations. Now partnering with Parkonomy.com, all bookings and payments for each car park are processed online. Everything is managed by Parkonomy.com for no cost, meaning that Hallmark Developments can focus solely on their core property development business, without having to take day-to-day control of their parking facilities.
Parkonomy.com is a technology-led, consumer-facing car park search and pay website which enables customers to book and pay for their parking online. One advantage of using Parkonomy.com for Hallmark Developments is that its car parks no longer require pay and display machines or the use of enforcement bodies. This has reduced the risk of vandalism and other anti-social behaviour; a problem Hallmark Developments had faced in the past. Also, Parkonomy’s flexible management arrangements mean that any parking information can be changed quickly and easily, as required, with the minimum amount of work for clients.
The simplicity of Parkonomy.com’s services is something that proved very attractive to Hallmark Developments and Managing Director Chris Grieves is very complimentary about working with them, “I like the fact that this makes our development sites even easier to use and the car parks can be taken down within a few minutes once we begin developing the site. Parkonomy.com takes care of everything to do with the temporary car parks so we don’t have to. This, along with the fact that they don’t charge us a penny means using their services is a no brainer for us.”
There are currently four car parks live on Parkonomy.com’s website: Union Street and Cross Keys Street in Manchester and Paradise Mill and Eastgate Street in Rochdale. These sites have proven to be popular with many Parkonomy.com users, especially in Manchester, due to the high demand and constant shortage of parking spaces in the city. Hallmark Developments are actively looking for additional sites to use.
With the desire to add more temporary car parks to the site in the coming months, Parkonomy.com’s Dave Coates believes there are many more opportunities ahead. He explains, “Hallmark had been looking for a replacement provider and found Parkonomy.com from another client site. We were able to get them live on our site in five days from first meeting. We are very keen to work with other property development companies in the future.”
