British Parking Awards 2016 finalist Parkonomy.com has signed a pioneering partnership with global payment giant, PayPal, to enable its customers to use PayPal for immediate and easy payment on Parkonomy.com. The technology-led, consumer-facing car park search, book and pay website, continues its ambitious programme of seeking business partners across the parking and payment worlds to deliver continuing improvement and flexible options to its growing consumer base.
PayPal offers its customers a faster and easier way to pay online – whether on mobile, tablet or desktop. PayPal customers never need to enter their card information at checkout, with their details stored and protected in their PayPal digital wallet.
Parkonomy.com joins the millions of businesses worldwide that accept PayPal, with the partnership marketing PayPal UK’s latest major move into the parking sector. Rob Harper, PayPal UK’s Director of Mobile Commerce commented, “Like Parkonomy.com, we like to find new ways to better serve our customers that save them time and hassle. Together we’re making it even easier for our customers to find, book and pay for their parking, whenever and wherever they want.”
Parkonomy.com is already seeing the benefits, with customers choosing to pay with PayPal triggering increased conversion at checkout.
Jim Harrow, Head of Business Development at Parkonomy.com said: “The flexible payment options we already provided have now been greatly enhanced by the addition of PayPal. The power of the PayPal brand has already delivered; once it was available, our consumers did not stand on ceremony; they began to use it. It demonstrates that when we provide our consumers with the tools they need, they go ahead and use them. We are committed to continually improving our digital platform and creating versatile, user-friendly solutions that our parking operators will benefit from and our consumers will easily adopt.”
Parkonomy.com is focused on developing greater corporate partnerships to elevate the parking payment website’s status among consumers to become the platform of choice for parking in the UK and beyond.
